Interface Options

Home Automation is all about control and convenience. Our systems give you control both at home and while you are away.

In-wall touch screens are the primary user interface and provide easy control over the entire house. From any touch screen, you are able to change temperatures, arm/disarm the security system, make adjustments to the lighting system, view cameras, and control the whole house music system.

Wireless touch screens are also available. These 10 inch panels give you all of the above options and you can take them anywhere you go. The wireless panels still have the same two-way information that the in-wall versions offer, but are totally portable.

Touch Screen Demo

See the HAI Omnitouch in operation. This demo highlights the 5.7 model, which can control lighting, security, temperatures, and audio.

The new 5.7e is also able to display security cameras and allows for graphic customization.

*Please note the demo takes a couple minutes to load.

Home Control Software

With HAI's Snaplink software you can control your home from any Windows-based computer with internet access (sorry, mac users).

Change the temperature, arm the security, or turn the music on outside; it's all at your fingertips!

iPhone HAI ControliPhone Control

The HAI community cheered when a end-user developed a great iPhone app for HAI home control. The app, named H@me was developed by Digital Dan.

This useful app works great with our systems. You will have full control over your system from your iPhone or iTouch.

Windows Mobile Phones/PDAs

HAI has developed software that allows Windows Mobile Phones (OS 5.0 and above) to control our automation systems. Call us for more details.

FAQs

How big are the touch screens?

The in-wall touch screens have a 5.7" screen while the wireless have a 10" screen.

How are the touch screen and LCD keypad different?

The major difference is in ease of use. Both consoles can control security, lighting, HVAC, and run macro commands. The touch screens are able to control audio where the keypads cannot.

Where should the touch screens be placed?

In most homes we place one screen in the kitchen and one in the master bedroom. However, this is a guideline, not a rule. We can place them anywhere you like.

How many touch screens can I have?

We are able to have 64 screens per home.

How many copies of the Snaplink software do I need?

One. The snaplink software license is per system, not per computer. You are able to load the software onto each computer in your home.
