From any touch screen, you are able to change temperatures, arm/disarm the security system and find out if any zones are open, make adjustments to the lighting system, view cameras, and control the whole house music system.
Wireless touch screens are also available they give you all of the above options and you can take it anywhere you go. The wireless panels still have the same two way information that the inwall versions offer but are totally portable.
HAI's Snaplink software allows any windows based computer to control the home.This lightweight application is easy to use and gives you total control over your home. Sorry MAC users, nothing for you yet, unless of course you are one of the 3 million iPhone owners out there, in that case you have an app!
Windows Media Center - HAI has developed a plug-in for the Windows Media Center that will also allow you to control your home from your TV. It has a clean interface and is simple to operate. Works perfectly with our HDTV distribution system and universal remotes.
Control from OUTSIDE the house:
The snaplink software is portable and will run on any Windows computer, foiled again Mac users, that means you can monitor and control your home from anywhere in the world! All systems are accessible and you can check up on or give the house an order, just like if you were there. This simple yet powerful software is stored on a USB key that you put on your keychain.
If you have a Mac all is not lost, you still have complete control over your home from any phone, just give the house a call and let it know what you want it to do. The iPhone or windows mobile phone applications work perfectly for this scenario too. You can call for the status of the home or to issue commands. So if you think you forgot something the house will confirm or deny your concerns. |

HAI's newest touch screen allows for wireless operation throughout your home. In addition to offering house-wide control, these touch screens can be customized with custom icons and graphics. We can even put your floor plans on the touch screen for visual control of your entire home.
The simple and cost effective keypad is most often placed in the garage/mud room and used to arm and disarm the security system. However, it also has the ability to control lights and climate control.

Not only does it keep the family calendar, but it serves as our hub and control center for the whole house by running the Snaplink software. We can do it all from the laptop; set the schedules for when we are home or away, control the music system for parties, set the lights, everything gets done from this most convenient location.
