To answer this question, DigitalDan has come up with an iPhone app called "
H@me" which can talk to the HAI Omni or Lumina home automation controllers. If you are a proud owner of an iPhone and a supported HAI controller, then you should give H@me a try. Once downloaded, follow the instructions given in the project page to configure it with your omni/lumina home automation controller. After that, you can control lighting, thermostats, temperature sensors, audio controls and you security system.
Last month, DigitalDan announced that he would be releasing new version of H@me. This new release will come with lots of bug fixes, new features and enhancements. You can read about those changes
here. However, this new version won't be freely downloadable. DigitalDan is yet to declare the price at which H@me 2.0 would be available. But till then, you can always try the existing free version of H@me.
